Who We Are
Lakeview Bible College and Seminary was founded over 25 years ago to train Christian leaders and equip them to transform their churches and communities for Jesus Christ. While Lakeview’s core mission is to provide biblical and ministerial training, it is the first Christian college in India to incorporate a dual degree in Business Administration and Psychology (Counseling). This dual degree program provides students with a skill set to be effective business leaders and partners in their communities, all while sharing the love of Jesus.
Hopelessness is on the rise throughout India; people are desperately searching for emotional support and hope. There is an urgent need for leaders who are spiritually prepared to speak truth and life into the Indian people and Lakeview is prepared to equip leaders for this commission.
Support the ministry
In order to support the ministry offerings at the Lakeview campus that focus on Business and Counseling programming, plans are underway for the construction of The Tschiegg Center. This new 6,000 SF facility has been designed to honor Roger and Cathy Tschiegg (our faithful forwarding agents since 1999). Roger and Cathy have made numerous trips to the Lakeview campus and have a deep love for God’s work through Lakeview. With Roger’s passing last year, the Tschiegg and Lakeview family were moved to establish this facility in conjunction with Lakeview’s 25th Anniversary to be celebrated with a ground-breaking in October, 2023.
The Tschiegg Center will offer semester-long courses for academic credit, as well as seminars and workshops in Business and Counseling training beginning in early 2025. The cost of establishing this center is $200,000, of which $142,000 has been raised; which leaves $58,000 required to complete the project.
Lakeview currently has 44 residential students and 25 more enrolled online. Over the last 25 years, lakeview has trained and sent out some 600 kingdom workers who are servingin 19 states throughout India and at least 7 foreign nations.
